In general, any device running Android 6+ with Google Play Services is compatible with Cerberus Enterprise.

For a better user experienceexperience, we suggest to useusing devices that meetsmeet the Android Enterprise Recommended requirements.

Some functionalitiesfeatures are limited to specific Android versions, or canmay behave differently on differentacross OS versions. For more information about a specific functionality,feature, please readsee the Policies section of the documentation.

Cerberus Enterprise supports both company-owned and personally-owned devices, and two management modes,modes: device owner and profile owner.

Personally-owned devices can be managed through a work profile,. soThis you can implementenables a BYOD solution by keeping employee'semployees' work data and apps separate from personal one,data forand aapps, betterimproving both security and privacy on both ends.privacy. This option is suitable for devices already owned by employees,employees that you canwant to enroll intoin your organization for securelywork use also at work.use.

Company-owned devices can also be managed through a work profile too,profile, but you can also havechoose the fully managed option, thatwhich allowallows a more strictstricter control over the device. Company-owned devices with a work profile are suitable when you want to provide companycorporate devices to employees for usework, at work,while still allowing to use this devices also for personal use. The fullyFully managed option,devices instead, isare better suited for devices that must only be used atonly for work, or for dedicated devices (COSU orCOSU, corporate-owned single-use), likesuch kiosk.as kiosks.
